Agent Context
Codex SessionStart can assign and persist mascots, but CLI 0.142.3 does not repaint live thread-title from SQLite. Current scope: emit supported SessionStart additionalContext so the model knows its marker, preserve persisted title for resume/history, and document /rename or app-server thread/name/set as the live-footer path.
Stage Timeline
Who handled each stage, the time it took (measured), and the model / tokens / cost reported (best-effort) — plus who's on it right now. — means the agent didn't report that metric.
Conversation
QA review feedback, agent handoffs, and follow-up notes for this task.
Live Codex TUI footer did not repaint after persisted threads.title update. Existing PR proves SessionStart hook, marker, and SQLite title for new exec sessions, but interactive status_line thread-title visibility remains unproven and needs a different path or product support.
QA review found no code blockers on PR #257 at 9549e2e. GitHub CI is green and focused local tests passed. PR is still draft, so leave it out of merge/release until the owner marks it ready for review.
Correction to prior review note: task state changed back to building while review was in progress. Treat PR #257 as returned to the feature agent until the live Codex TUI title/footer repaint concern in the latest task activity is resolved and the task is resubmitted.
Review approved: Carl primary and Alex light approved PR #257. Residual risk: user-level fallback may require Codex hook trust; managed /etc requirements remains the policy-trusted automatic path.
